Clerical Plus feels that your website should be implemented to serve your customers, not impress them (e.g., not a lot of fancy graphics and/or animations).

Technically, Clerical Plus will design your website for access by the "lowest common denominator browser" from both a software and hardware perspective.

From a software perspective, this entails implementing your website using the following principals:

• Utilize HTML features that will operate under the previous (verses the most current) release of the browser technology market share leaders -- Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator
   

• Utilize "browser safe" colors and fonts, i.e., the finite set of colors and fonts that will display consistently within the browser technology market share leaders (and on both the PC  and Mac hardware platforms)
   

To insure access by the "lowest common denominator browser" from a hardware perspective, Clerical Plus designs its websites for access by modem connection speeds of 48 BPS or less and operates under the following principals:

• Keep all pages and their respective graphics optimized and as small as possible (while still keeping your graphics sharp) so that download times are minimized and potential customers do not get impatient and surf away from your site
   

• Insure that your website pages can be viewed horizontally, without scrolling, for the lowest, most common, monitor resolution (800 x 600)
   

• Design the website so that the text on any of its pages, especially the home (first) page, begins to display within five seconds from when you domain name is accessed (note: this will be applicable only when your website is browsed via Internet Explorer)

Once potential customers have accessed your business website, to help them feel 'comfortable' with it, Clerical Plus applies the following simple design principals:

• Employ plenty of 'white space'
   

• Assume that each visitor to your website is new and requires simple guides and links to navigate them through it
   

• Create each page layout so that it is clear and consistent, with a common look and feel

Of course, if you do not agree with our website implementation philosophy and want a website with lots of graphics and/or animations (thus incurring more download time), Clerical Plus will still be happy to implement your site for you.
